This is the first of 2 "roughs" that Chantrell completed for this Swedish sex-comedy & like many Chantrell roughs of the period was illustrated on tracing paper, this one measuring 14"x 18". The design here was unusued & Chantrell created an entirely different image for the 2nd rough (this also shown). For the purpose of comparison we also show the finished Quad poster (courtesy of www.moviepostermem.com). Chantrell was paid £350 for the roughs & his finished artwork & the print run for the poster was only 750 (W).
