Finished Chantrell UK Quad poster artwork (21"x 28" approx) for the American comedy starring Jack Lemmon & Barbara Harris, "The War Between Men And Women" (1972).
This is a great example of Chantrell's caricature style artwork (purposely chosen as Lemmon plays a cartoon artist in the film) & a particularly colourful composition. A poster design that couldn't fail to attract attention & excite interest!
The artwork is gouache laid to artboard. The title/cast/credits text has been overlaid in printed strips. The original paper overlay sheet is attached with a hand-written note in pencil by the artist.
