A fascinating insight into Chantrell's attention to detail whilst designing/illustrating Quad posters. Whilst on a trip to the country, Tom & his wife Shirley met a lady walking with her son. As Chantrell was at the time working on a poster for "Walkabout", & wanted to feature an image of Jenny Agutter running with her brother in hand, he asked if they could "borrow" the boy so Shirley could run with him & Tom could photograph this scene. Here is the ensuing 8"x 12" b/w photo (edge nicks & some creasing) & as the finished poster shows, Chantrell closely referenced this image in his poster design. 

Sold together is an 8"x 10" b/w photo taken of Chantrell's finished artwork, this used in the production process. The finished artwork has sadly been lost but we do feature 2 prototype pieces of  "Walkabout" artwork on this website.
