The finished artwork (18"x 29") for the video release of "Viva Maria" (c' 1987). The film, starring Brigitte Bardot & Jeanne Moreau, was originally released in 1966 & Chantrell has adapted the standard imagery used on the UK Quad & US 1-sheets for the film. The colours remain particularly bold & vibrant. This is an excellent example of Chantrell's artistry.
The artwork is painted gouache applied to Daler artboard with an acetate overlay.
