From the Chantrell archive, an original A4 Trade Ad for "Vampire Lovers", the illustration a glorious example of Chantrell's prototype artwork for Hammer. By the time the film emerged, Mike Vaughan had created a very different design (Quad Poster shown here for reference only, image courtesy of
www.moviepostermem.com). Chantrell's more explicit design for the Trade Ad would have required heavy re-working to have satisfied the censors anyway. The Trade Ad has a vertical crease & a tiny edge nick but framed would make a great display piece.
