Two "Banana Splits" 1970 Annual book cover "printer's proofs" designed & illustrated by Chantrell (Chantrell would have been provided with these proofs in order to check & authorise the colour balance & overall quality of the printing).
Based on the successful US TV series (1968-70) the series were aired in the early 1970's in the UK. The larger measures 8 5/8" x 11 1/2". Both items would frame to excellent effect.
