Chantrell not only created Quad posters for Hammer during the period 1965-70 but he was also employed to produce pre-production marketing artwork too. This large b/w photo (16"x 21") from the archive looks to be a photo of prototype artwork for "The Horror Of Frankenstein" (1970), here bearing a preliminary title of "The Terror Of Frankenstein". As the original artwork is long gone (lost, stolen or destroyed), this photo is probably the only original reminder of this piece of Chantrell Hammer artwork.

There is a 1" tear to upper edge.
