A heavyweight cast for this John Huston African epic including Errol Flynn, Trevor Howard, Orson welles, Juliette Greco etc. Made in 1958, the film centred on the attempts by Trevor Howard to prevent the extermination of the African elephant, the film shot in Chad. Chantrell's flair for poster design & illustration is plain to see: rampaging elephants, gunfire, exotic natives & a sultry maiden all presented in a dynamic & colourful form - the comparison with the US 1-Sheet poster equivalent (image courtesy of emovieposter.com), very clear.

The poster has various tiny edge nicks/repairs, a small "L" shaped repaired tear to the "H" in "Heaven) & minor paper loss to both right hand corners.
