The Poster delivers a clear message that this is a Film about sexual tension, three of the montage images, showing images of intimate behaviour. This Film, based on the DH Lawrence novel, caused some controversy on release, the lesbian theme being somewhat boundary pushing for the time. This unfolded Chantrell "proof" has one Conservation repair to the lower left edge (1 1/2") & a slight surface mark but otherwise is in near perfect condition.
