A prototype piece of original artwork (all painted), measuring 21"x 27" overall. Though quite different to the design that finally made it to print (also by Chantrell - see below), this is a lovely piece, vibrant, full of colour & finished to a high degree.

"The Four Musketeers" gained a notoriety in the history of film-making. It was mostly shot at the same time as "The Three Musketeers" (1973) & though the actors wondered at the length of the shoot, they had no idea that essentially they were being paid for one film but the producers always planned to release 2 films. Legal actions followed (for those interested in knowing more, "Cinema Retro" published an excellent article about the making of these films).

Given the size of this piece, a supplementary P&P charge will be required or otherwise it can be collected by arrangement.
