Original Chantrell painted artwork for the 1987 video release of The Executioner (19"x 26" overall). This was one of a number of late 1980's Norwegian video releases that Chantrell was commissioned to undertake. This particular job paid £500. The blank left hand side was designed for text insertion on the back of the video. Interestingly, Chantrell "borrowed" a pose previously used to great effect on his 1980 illusatration for "Scared to Death".
