Dark brooding imagery for this tense story about the duel between an American Destroyer & a German U-Boat during WWII. Chantrell provides excellent illustrations of the two leads, Robert Mitchum & Curt Jurgens. The blue/orange colour scheme is unusual but works well in the context of the film. There are some marks & nicks to the outer white rim & a single faint vertical foldline but otherwise this Chantrell proof copy is in EX condition. A very good example of Chantrell's earlier work.
