A scarce UK double-crown Poster (20"x 30") for this Jazz themed Musical. Interestingly when compared to the corresponding Quad for the film, the DC looks properly "completed" (the dancing figures on the Quad being only blank outlines). It is possible that the Distributors sanctioned use of Chantrell's preliminary artwork for the Quad. Poster production was frequently beset with deadlines & late night painting sessions became a part of Chantrell's modus operandi. This DC is in EX condition. There is a pencil mark to the bottom rim "PTO" & to the reverse further pencil written details about the print run including numbers required both for the Underground & British Railways.
