Original Chantrell "artwork" (21"x 27" overall) for this 1965 drama about the life of Michaelangelo. An interesting piece which shows how Chantrell "built up" many of his artistic creations. The imagery is based on a photograph of original Chantrell artwork. This has been applied to artboard, subsequently annotated  & Chantrell has painted in the yellow background. An acetate with lettering would have been placed on top to create the finished product which would subsequently have been photographed in order to produce the master for the Quad poster. For the purpose of comparison we show an image of the completed Quad poster too.

Given the size of this piece, a supplementary P&P charge will be required or otherwise it can be collected by arrangement.
