The 300 Spartans Chantrell Artwork 1962

A typical Chantrell artwork rough (21"x 26"), being finished to a high degree, painted on artboard & showing a very close resemblance to the final printed Quad poster (see below). The piece has an acetate overlay upon which Chantrell displays the film title. Unfortunately, this has suffered some water damage & the paint has run. However, the underlying artwork has been unaffected & the colours remain bold, vibrant & well delineated.
