Chantrell's original painted artwork (20"x 27") for the 1961 comedy-adventure "Snow White & The Three Clowns" (aka "Snow White & The Three Stooges"). This is the finished art for the UK Quad poster and the design was loosely based on that of the US 1-sheet poster (images below courtesy of emovieposter.com).

Chantrell brings this comic fantasy to life with some lovely artwork with a great sense of colour & movement. Apart from the photo element bottom right & the script, everything has been painted (including the title text). The pie-in-face slapstick snapshot bottom right & the wicked witch top right, are painted on card pieces which have been added to the artboard. Chantrell was obviously pleased with this work as he signed it, had it framed & was displayed in his home. This is an early surviving example of Chantrell's poster artwork.
