A relatively early piece of Chantrell artwork for the Quad poster for this 1958 film with a "RnR" theme (the Quad poster shown here for the purposes of comparison. This was a typical Chantrell composition for the period, a painted background being overlaid with cut-outs shapes, painted artwork, a photographic piece (bottom left), the whole being further overlaid with strategically placed text. The artwork (17"x 22") is a finished version, pasted onto a larger piece of card, though some of the pasted text is now missing. Some other scuffs/slight surface paper loss also evident.
