This is Chantrell's original painted artwork (now framed & glazed, 19"x 28") for the 1968 western "Shalako", starring Sean Connery & Brigitte Bardot. The general release Quad poster for this film shows Chantrell's illustration of the two leads plus an added image of Connery on a horse (image shown courtesy of www.moviepostermem.com). However, the full Chantrell artwork was printed as a poster as can be seen below, this poster being an Advance Quad for the film. The artwork has some slight wrinkling to the upper white background but this could be rectified by restoration.
