Sex Machine Chantrell Quad Poster 1976

This is a good example of Chantrell's work for the independent distributors in the 1970's once Chantrell had turned freelance, this being a typical piece of his sexploitation poster artwork. The films (in this case European) were clearly of no great artistic merit but the independents found a willing market among sex-starved Brits at the time! Chantrell used bold colours, humour & titillation to appeal to the punters. The tag-line "Sex of one, half a dozen of the other" was also almost certainly a Chantrell contribution too. 

NB. This poster is rare in any condition as the print run was small. However, this particular example is particularly fine, being an unfolded Chantrell proof copy remaining in excellent condition (minor creasing/light marks to rim only).
