Original painted artwork (18 3/4"x 24 1/2") from Chantrell's Quad poster design for the "Sea Wife" (1957), mounted on card together with a b/w photo of the printed Quad poster.

When Chantrell turned freelance in 1971, he was worried about his future viability. In order to create a "marketing" portfolio, Chantrell put together a collection of his work by cutting out choice pieces from previously completed artworks (as here). Obviously this resulted in the destruction of much artwork though at the time the intent was entirely rational. This page, however, does present the key features from the original painted artwork, including lovely images of both Joan Collins & Richard Burton. The artwork appears to be gouache on card.
