Scheherazade Poster artwork etc

A single photographic/artwork rough (9 1/4"x 10 1/2") & a host of reference material supplied to facilitate in the creation of the Quad poster for the 1982 sex film "The Story of Scheherazade". The rough consists of a photographic image of the star Annette Haven, pasted onto artboard. On top is an acetate overlay with a Chantrell appended tag-line & the title script in hand on a piece of tracing paper. As can be seen below, Chantrell used this photographic image for reference in his painted version, Chantrell's image of Ms Haven being infinitely better than the actual thing!

Sold with the rough is a plethora of material provided to Chantrell, including colour photographic slides (18 from the Ms Haven photo session for the poster design plus a further 14 from the film), a US campaign book for "A Thousand & One Erotic Nights" (the film was hardcore in the USA), 8 marked up b/w photos & various associated documents re: printing, censorship, cinema bookings etc. In total approx 50 items (w).
