The photo has some hand-tinted annotations & evidence of an adhesive wash. Interestingly a portion of a second photo has been added bottom left obscuring the figure of the screaming woman here. Perhaps Chantrell was experimenting & wanted to see whether her "removal" added to the aesthetics?
