This is the original prototype artwork (17"x 22") for the 1979 film "Saint Jack". Though the finished poster (see below) shows a change in the colour scheme, the essential design is a very close match. Chantrell had an uncanny knack of being able to "nail" his brief, often with only one or two roughs being required. Chantrell was paid £345 for the rough & the finished artwork for this controversial film set in Singapore.
