An interesting piece of artwork for the 1985 film "Private Sessions" (1985). The artwork is comprised of both a hand-painted illustration & a pasted on photograph (the reclining nude) taken from Chantrell's artwork for "Midnight Blue". This is another example of how Chantrell used to re-cycle elements from previous designs in the quest for greater efficiency. The artwork was clearly designed to hype the sexual nature of the film & was probably a design for the cover of a video release. The artwork (19"x 26") is shown both with the original acetate overlay & au naturelle (W).
