One Million Years BC Part 2 Prototype

A curious & fascinating piece, this is a large original xerox type copy of Chantrell's prototype artwork (18"x 24") to the follow-up to "One Million Years BC" (1966), entitled here "One Million Years BC Part 2". The image has been taped onto board & was presumably used early on in the process of securing finance for the film. For the pupose of comparison, we show an image of the finished Quad which eventually bore the title "When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth" & was released in 1970. Apart from the obvious change in title, Chantrell's prototype artwork seems to have been largely retained for the Quad poster. However, close examination shows that Chantrell's artwork was far more explicit than the image produced on the Quad & that the naked breasts were given bikini like tops on the poster!  A great piece of original Hammer memorabilia.
