Chantrell was inextricably linked to both the creation & promotion of the Hammer film "One Million Years BC" (1966). Prior to the film being commissioned Chantrell produced various pieces of concept art to help Hammer raise finance for the film. Thereafter, Chantrell created artwork for industry marketing brochures & of course produced the iconic Quad poster too.

Here we have a large original b/w photo of Chantrell artwork (11"x 15") showing four naked cavewomen trying to escape the clutches of some hungry dinosaurs! This is likely to have been a very early piece of pre-production prototype art dating from 1965. A fascinating piece of Chantrell Hammer memorabilia.
