Full set of eight UK b/w Front-Of-House Stills (8"x 10") used for reference in Chantrell's composition for the Quad poster for the Steve McQueen motorbike film "On Any Sunday" (1963).
The Tigon budget for the poster design for the film was limited & it is likely that the only reference material Chantrell was given were these Stills (& possibly Stills from Steve McQueen's "Le Mans" which was also released in 1971). One Still in particular was very clearly the inspiration behind Chantrell's poster design (poster shown for reference). Some Stills are slightly creased or have the odd edge nick but these are rare pieces in any condition.
