Chantrell conjures admirably the sense of the macabre on this poster for the 1980 re-release of Romero's 1968 zombie horror classic. Chantrell was paid a total of £287.50 for this design & the finished artwork! The print run for this poster was only 2,000. Being a Chantrell proof poster, this poster escaped machine-folding & remains in rare unfolded form. The poster would be mint except for a faint 5" scratch & minor creasing top left. As with all items sold from this website, the poster comes with written provenance that this piece belonged to the artist Tom Chantrell.
