Finished artwork (18 1/2"x 23 1/4") for the UK Quad poster for the African adventure "Naked Earth" (1958), starring Richard Todd and the French actress, Juliette Greco. This is a rare early piece of surviving Chantrell poster artwork. The entirety has been painted with the text applied on card cut-outs. Chantrell has signed the artwork on the bottom border. The printed Quad poster is shown for comparison (image courtesy of Wellers Ltd).

The artwork consists of gouache applied to board with cut-out text superimposed.
