Towards the end of Chantrell's career, Chantrell worked on the designs for a number of German Posters & this is an example being the German Poster (23"x 33") for the 1980 re-release of the Marx Brothers 1949 Comedy, "Love Happy". Not only was this Film the last to feature all the Marx Brothers but it also witnessed a very early (& minor) role for Marilyn Monroe. Subsequent marketing campaigns (like this), however, were to elevate Marilyn's position for obvious commercial reasons. This Poster is in beautiful near Mint unfolded condition & sees Chantrell return to his trademark exuberant & colourful style.
