Four original 1946 b/w Cinema Stills (8"x 10") for the classic Frank Capra Film "It's A Wonderful Life". As Chantrell was demobbed in '46 & returned to Bateman's, it is likely that he was responsible for the design of the British Quad for this Film which was released in the Spring of 1947 in the UK. The Stills would have been supplied to Chantrell to help in the design process. Two of the Stills have original labels with details of the Film, sellotaped to the reverse. All Stills have some evidence of discolouration & most have creasing, edge nicks etc. Nonetheless, rare to find original Stills for this Film in any condition.
