This is the original Chantrell prototype (14 1/2"x 19") for the Quad poster for "Hot Bubblegum" (1981). Though the rough shows a very close approximation to the final Quad poster (also shown here), this was Chantrell's 2nd attempt at the design as the right hand side image of the 3 girls has been overlaid upon an earlier interpretation (also shown here). An interesting piece which shows the evolutionary steps in the poster design (W).
