An original photo still (8""x 10" approx) used by Chantrell to help him create the prototype poster artwork for this Hammer film. The still shows the monster (David Prowse) killing a woodsman, this detail & the official Hammer stamp carried to the reverse. Though Chantrell did not produce artwork for the finished Quad, his prototype artwork (shown on a page extract from the Marcus Hearn book "The Hammer Vault" (2011)), was used by Hammer in markewting pitches to secure financing for the film.
