A great tongue-in-cheek piece of artwork illustrates this poster for this 1980 Golan Globus sex comedy. Though it is easy to be dismissive of such films, the soft-porn market sustained the film industry for much of the 1970's & early 1980's. As the censors barriers slowly crumbled, so film-makers on both sides of the Atlantic, dived headlong into the genre, these low budget films, generally proving to be profitable.

Like their UK counterparts, American sex comedies often provided a refuge for mainstream actors, hard-pressed for work. In the case of "Hollywood Blue", both Phil Silvers & Adam West (aka TV's "Batman") extended their repertoire. Since Christies "Exploitation Poster Art" sale of 2006, posters such as this have been climbing in value.

This poster is a Chantrell unfolded "proof", in superb condition. Probably the best example of this title you are ever likely to find.
