These 3 items relate to the 1958 Chantrell Poster for "Harry Black" (shown here for reference only). The first piece (6"x 13" approx) is a tracing Chantrell has made of a pouncing tiger, probably taken from a library book or magazine (Chantrell often referred to external sources such as these in the quest for accuracy of his illustrations). This image was used as the basis for the tiger in the "Harry Black" Quad Poster. There is also an b/w magazine image of a tiger pasted onto card which formed the basis of another piece of artwork, possibly for the same film (the later colour photo of the finished artwork is also included here).
