Hands of the Ripper Hammer Artwork 1971

A fascinating double-sided original artwork mock-up (11 1/2"x 17") for a Hammer promotional leaflet for "Hands of the Ripper" (both sides shown). Chantrell was frequently employed by Hammer to produce such material as well as creating prototype poster artwork for various film projects (many which never made it to the big screen). "Hands of the Ripper" of course did get made but we are not sure whether the artwork shown here was ever published. Another piece of Chantrell artwork was printed as a promotional leaflet but this boasts a very different design as shown. The artwork presented here is lifting in places & there is a neat 4" cut running from the top edge alongside the box showing "Hands of the Ripper". This intrudes into the green image to the reverse.
