Original LP cover artwork for one of Chantrell's designs for MFP, this for "Great TV Western Themes" (1970). The LP contained theme tunes from TV classics such as "Bonanza", "The Virginian", "Rawhide" etc. Chantrell's ability to conjure up almost photographic depictions of the actors & create a colourful & appealing montage, is well demonstrated here. For interest we show both the finished LP cover & also a close-up of the artwork where Chantrell's signature has been obscured. This is curious as it does appear on the finished LP cover but traces are still discernible.
