More about this item:

The original surviving Quad artwork for "Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed" (1969). The initial release of the film was accompanied with a full colour Quad (see below) & a 2nd version with the same artwork but just green/black in colour. The film was also released as part of a double-bill with "Sons of Satan" (the double-bill courtesy of hammerhorrorposter.com). The artwork displays one of Chantrell's "stock" images, the depiction of the damsel in distress (see also "Food of the Gods"). Chantrell took an unashamed utilitarian approach to his work & when commissioned for alternate versions or re-releases, he simply cannibalised his original artwork by cutting out pieces he could re-use (as here). The artwork measures 16"x 21" & clearly has been adapted for "The Monsters & Mobster" double-bill Poster. A rare piece of original 1960's Hammer artwork.
