Folly Bergere Chantrell Artwork

A large "rough" by Chantrell for this project c' 1967-69, the title of which was obviously a play on the "Folies Bergere". Measuring 13 1/2"x 18 1/2", the illustration pictures a sexy assassin admiring her blood strewn work, the title script also oozing blood. The blood dripping motif was one of Chantrell's favourite devices as the attached Quad for "Taste the Blood of Dracula" (1970) also shows (image courtesy of www.moviepostermem.com).

We have been unable to identify whether or not this film was made or if so whether it emerged with a different title. Chantrell was paid for this rough but if anyone has any additional information about the film, we would be pleased to hear from you.
