A silk-screen poster (17"x 22") bearing the imagery from the left-hand side of the Quad poster for "Dracula Prince of Darkness" (1966) (Quad image shown courtesy of
www.moviepostermem.com). From the early 1960's Chantrell began to start keeping examples of both his poster artwork & the posters themselves. Sometimes these items were subsequently "cannibalised" for use in later commissions but sometimes they were kept simply for reference or as mementoes. This piece appears to have come from a Quad though it has been cropped & was pasted onto backing paper. There are several areas of repair (probably carried out by Chantrell himself).
