Dracula Chelsea 73 Chantrell Hammer Flyer 1994

Following his retirement in 1993 Chantrell started to re-acquire examples of his posters. During the 90's Chantrell also had some copies made of several of his Hammer pre-production flyers including two for "Dracula Chelsea '73" (the film eventually released as "Dracula AD 1972"). Originally these flyers were produced to help secure financing & promote the films but we are unsure why Chantrell had these two copies subsequently made in the 1990's. The single copy here is on paper stock (11 5/8"x 16 1/2"). Minor creasing bottom left corner.

The original painted artwork for this flyer was sold by Prop Store for £4,000 in November 2018 & the original artwork for the associated Quad poster was also sold by Prop Store for £10,000 in June 2018 (images below courtesy of https://propstore.com/ ).
