Chantrell's finished Quad poster artwork for the 1974 film "Dirty Mary Crazy Larry". This is an interesting example where Chantrell was invited to re-work Robert Tanenbaum's existing artwork from the American poster campaign (see the US 1-Sheet below courtesy of emovieposter.com). The artwork is gouache on Legion artboard (21"x 27 3/4") with the spectacle scene being painted on a card cut-out which has been superimposed. The text is printed on strips which have also been added onto the artboard.
