This is a rare example of the Style-B Quad for this cult collectable film. In the 1960's-70's major cinematic releases in the UK would frequently have 2 styles of Quad Poster in addition to a few Double-Crown & UK 1-Sheets produced. Generally, most cinemas would take the A-Style Quad, only the much larger cinemas having the room & requirement to offer alternative styles of advertising. B-Style Quads were therfore prrinted in smaller quantities & are rarer. Generally B-Style Quads featured less ambitious artwork but in this case, Chantrell bucks the trend, the more "human" interpretation of his brief competing well with the "epic" design of the A-Style Poster (shown here for comparison). The B-Style Quad has been folded but remains in EX condition. A rare Scifi collectable.
