Crucible of Terror Chantrell Quad Poster 1971

This is a fascinating poster being an early prototype of a "Crucible of Terror" (1971) double-bill (c' 1973). The poster measures slightly larger than the standard Quad at 31"x 41" & though the silk-screened artwork for "Crucible" is finished, the artwork for the supporting feature has clearly not been finalised, there being no title or text & the white blank having been annotated "Frank - Two More Colours To Go Down, Bill". It is extremely rare to find British Quads in this stage of development. The poster has a single vertical fold-line & various tiny edge nicks.
