An interesting Poster design for this Roger Vadim film. The original French title "La Jeune Fille Assassinee", more accurately describes what was essentially a Crime Thriller. However, distributors (& their commissioned artists) frequently highlighted to erotic angle of such foreign imports in the 1960's-70's. Suppressed British audiences willingly invested in the line that "foreign" films were inherently "more sexy" (even though they still fell under the umbrella scrutiny of the British censor !). The Poster has a couple of small Conservastion repairs to tears on the left hand side. For the purpose of comparison, we also show an image of an early Printers proof of this Poster too.
