An interesting Chantrell sketch on tracing paper (11"x 14") of a buxom woman reclining in a man's arms with her arm stretched across her face. We cannot be 100% sure what this piece of work relates to but the pose of the woman here is one of those stock images that frequently crops up in Chantrell illustrations. A very good example is the detail of the abandoned maiden in "Food of the Gods" (1976) & a slight variant can be seen in an earlier work: the poster design for the "Quatermass & the Pitt" Quad (1967).
