Original Chantrell finished painted artwork (20"sq overall) for the 1988 Warner Home Video VHS cover for the Mick Jagger Australian outlaw film "Ned Kelly" (1970).

Both the original US 1-Sheet & UK Quad posters featured the same simple photographic image of Jagger (Quad poster image courtesy of emovieposter). We believe Chantrell was instructed to produce a painted version of this which he delivered with aplomb: the red background being a perfect accompaniment to his illustration of the gun-totting Rolling Stone! The artwork is gouache on "Daler" artboard, the four small figures in the foreground being photographic paste-ons. There is a paper overlay which Chantrell has annotated.
