A b/w photo (8 1/4"x 11 1/2") showing prototype artwork for the unmade Hammer Film "Kali Devil Bride Of Dracula", c' 1975-76 (see Maxford "Hammer House of Horror" 1996).

This project was one of many that Hammer's Michael Carreras endeavoured to kick-start in the mid-1970's in order to revive Hammer's failing fortunes. As is well known (see Marcus Hearn's "The Art Of Hammer" 2010) Hammer frequently commissioned poster mock-ups to use in pitches for finance & Chantrell was frequently used by Hammer for these projects (a curious case of the posters actually "driving" the films themselves). Of interest to both fans of Chantrell & Hammer alike.
