Three images of preliminary Chantrell designs for the Quad poster for the horror film "The Hills Have Eyes" (1977).
As comparison with the printed Quad shows, these mock-ups marked early steps towards the final composition. The larger is a 8"x 10" b/w photo & the two smaller ones are 4"x 5" photo-mechanical prints annotated by Chantrell.
