Rare Chantrell still (8"x 10") for the Hammer horror film "The Witches" (1966) bearing the earlier pre-release title "The Devil's Own".
Comparison with the released Quad poster shows a very close match though Joan Fontaine's expression has been changed from one of cadaverous fear to mild concern! Fontaine was not only the leading star but had bought the rights of "The Devil's Own" & therefore probably had some influence over how she was to be portrayed.
An excellent piece of Chantrell/Hammer memorabilia.
